From a plastic sink to all the bells and whistles.
Jade and Sam started Magic Bean in January 2021 with a home-built coffee cart, retrofitted to a trailer and parked at Hallertau Brewery. The setup was humble, right down to a first sink that was simply a plastic container, but Jade’s coffee and easy warmth soon built a loyal local following.
The regulars came on two legs and four. Local dogs quickly learned that a morning stop at the cart often came with a treat of their own.
In July 2024, the original cart made way for the bespoke Magic Bean cart you see today. Then, in June 2025, we moved to Huapai Golf Club, just 800 metres up the road from where it all began.
